About Roy

Roy is a highly regarded full-time artist, working across the media spectrum with a distinctive and exciting style that brings to life bold and dramatic rural and mountain landscapes found in remote parts of the British Isles, especially Wales and Scotland, and across the hills and valleys of Europe particularly Italy and France where subjects such as Tuscany showcase his bold and adventurous use of colour and texture.

Roy exhibits throughout the UK, with his works in many private collections across the country and around the world, he is accomplished in many styles of painting including watercolour, acrylics, oils, pastels and more recently exploring texture and collage through a mixed media approach using materials such as handmade papers and natural fibres.
